  The lawyer service platform of the people's courts that went online on that day covered 35 online litigation services, such as online case filing, application for verification of agency relationships, investigation and collection of evidence, and extension of the period of evidence production.

Xu Jianfeng, director of the Information Center of the Supreme People's Court of China, said that the platform realizes a unified portal and a unified entrance across the country, providing lawyers with a unified channel for "one-yard access".

Xu Jianfeng cited the issue of court scheduling that has plagued lawyers for many years as an example. The platform can realize intelligent avoidance and reasonable planning.

Jiang Min, vice president of the All-China Lawyers Association, added that in the past, manual scheduling would have time conflicts, and the platform will allow lawyers to better serve clients.

  The People's Court Lawyer Service Platform is connected with the Chinese Lawyer Identity Verification Platform, which will be launched for trial operation in September 2020.

Yao Xiongsen, deputy director of the Information Center of the Ministry of Justice of China, said that the practice of lawyers confirms that the chip card is piloting and demonstrating the application, and the virtual digital certificate commonly known as the "law certificate code" has also been officially put into use.

  The "Opinions of the Ministry of Justice of the Supreme People's Court on Providing Lawyers with One-stop Litigation Services" issued on the 14th also focuses on protecting lawyers' right to know and strengthening rights relief.

For example, lawyers can view node information such as case filing, court opening, and case closure through the people's court lawyer service platform.

  Regarding the development of lawyers themselves, Wang Xueze, the first-level inspector of the Lawyers Work Bureau of the Ministry of Justice of China, said that the nationwide comprehensive management information system for lawyers will be improved, and “to accurately and completely gather information on lawyers’ practice permits, changes, cancellations, assessments, rewards and punishments in real time.”

  Speaking of the court’s acceptance of supervision, Qian Xiaochen, the chief judge of the Supreme People’s Court of China, said that the lawyer service platform of the People’s Court has an online function for contacting judges, and both parties and their lawyers will exchange evidence in a visible and supervised environment. , Cross-examination and other work.
