Location (dpa / lnw) - During a wild escape trip with a flat tire through the Lippe district, a car driver collided with a patrol car.

The 38-year-old tried to flee from the police at high speed and daring overtaking maneuvers and ignored several red lights, the officials said on Thursday.

Accordingly, the police wanted to control the man in the situation on Wednesday.

But he had accelerated and a little later hit a traffic sign.

Without exterior mirrors and with plates, the man continued his escape.

The 38-year-old only avoided an oncoming patrol car at the last moment.

When trying to drive through a roundabout at high speed, the man lost control and crashed into a police car.

The intoxicated driver, against whom an arrest warrant had been issued, was arrested.

He did not have a driver's license, and his car was also not registered.

The 25-year-old passenger was temporarily arrested and later released.
