The worry of loved ones turned into immense grief.

The teenager hit by gunfire Monday night in the Dervallières district in Nantes succumbed to his injuries.

He died on Wednesday at the Nantes University Hospital, revealed

Around 8:15 p.m., several shots rang out at the foot of a bar of buildings in rue Edmond-Bertreux.

Two people were injured.

26-year-old man also injured

One of the two victims was a 15-year-old boy living with his family in the neighborhood.

He was severely injured in the carotid artery, right eye and right leg.

The other victim is a 26-year-old homeless man with a knee injury.

Both were hospitalized at Nantes University Hospital.

The judicial police opened an investigation to understand the circumstances of the tragedy.

No suspect has yet been arrested.

In October 2019, a 22-year-old young man had already been shot dead in Les Dervallières, the victim of a settling of scores against a background of drug trafficking.
