Report in Lille, at the Bois hospital, where health professionals over 50 come to be vaccinated.

REPORTAGE

To accelerate the vaccination campaign against Covid-19, the private sector is mobilizing alongside the public.

In Lille, the private Bois hospital welcomes health professionals over 50 who wish to receive the first injection of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

In the early hours of the morning, Wednesday, city doctors, liberal nurses, physiotherapists or dentists had come in large numbers to be vaccinated.

"It impresses me to see all these people who come, who saturate the telephone switchboard for reservations", notes a retired doctor who came to strengthen the vaccination teams.

"The fact that doctors or health professionals go for it is an important example," he adds.

In one day, 260 health professionals were vaccinated.

"It takes ten minutes so it goes very quickly," says Laurent Delemer, director of the Bois clinic.

On the caregiver side, the feedback is also positive.

"We are still in a race against time. The more players we have mobilized in vaccination, the more we will make it known and the better off we will all be. There really needs to be a collective momentum around this approach- there ", notes Marie-Agnès Drecq, dental surgeon.

As of next Monday, the clinic will embark on a new stage with the vaccination of people over 75 years old.
