Berlin (dpa) - In the trial against a Berlin clan chief and three of his brothers, rapper Bushido is to be continued as a witness this morning (9:30 a.m.).

The musician (42) is also a joint plaintiff in the trial at the Berlin district court.

The four members of a well-known large family of Arab origin are accused of crimes to the detriment of Bushido after he broke down business relations with clan chief Arafat A.-Ch.

have dissolved.

According to the indictment, he did not want to accept the separation and unjustifiably demanded from Bushido the payment of alleged debts or the participation in his music business in the millions.

Bushido was threatened, insulted, locked in an office and attacked with a water bottle and a chair.

The public prosecutor accuses the main defendant, Arafat A.-Ch.

attempted severe blackmail, deprivation of liberty, dangerous bodily harm, coercion and insult.

On the eleventh day of his testimony in December, Bushido said he was willing to pay 1.8 million euros to achieve the separation.

However, the clan chief did not respond.

His wife then contacted the State Criminal Police Office.
