Bretten (dpa / lsw) - In a collision between two cars near Bretten (Karlsruhe district), the two drivers and three children between the ages of five and eight were injured, some seriously.
According to the first police reports, a misunderstanding led to the accident on Wednesday: At a junction on a district road, a 57-year-old car driver was about to turn left when a 30-year-old was about to overtake another car.
A collision occurred in which the three children in the 30-year-old's car also suffered serious injuries, it said.
The women and children all went to the hospital.
