And there, I think, this 15 km regulation is primarily a symbolic event and less a practically comprehensible and controllable thing that I personally consider superfluous. "
For the left it is crucial to intercept the social consequences of the crisis as best as possible, to create crisis-proof structures in society and to get out of the pandemic.
"And of course we cannot avoid contact restrictions, especially when this mutated virus is obviously now also spreading," said Schubert.
But politics must keep the right balance.
Otherwise there is a risk that corona rules and restrictions will increasingly lose their acceptance.
"I don't want to experience a situation where the entire city limits are cordoned off by the police," emphasized Schubert.
