Berlin (dpa / bb) - A man is said to have set fire to his girlfriend's apartment in Berlin-Reinickendorf.
After a dispute with the 38-year-old, his partner of the same age is said to have left the apartment of an apartment building in Hechelstrasse on Tuesday evening with her daughter, as the police announced on Wednesday.
A little later, the suspect set things on fire in the apartment.
According to the information, the man had previously threatened his girlfriend in a text message and threatened the fire.
Alarmed firefighters evacuated the apartment building because of heavy smoke development and extinguished the flames - the apartment was almost completely on fire.
Nobody got hurt.
Police arrested the suspect at his home that same evening.
