The conclusion of agreements to stabilize prices for sugar and sunflower oil in Russia did not cause a shortage of products. State Secretary, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Viktor Yevtukhov said this on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.
"Of course, there was no deficit, because we do not have, in principle, a deficit in production," - quoted by RIA Novosti Evtukhova.
According to him, the country produces enough sugar and sunflower oil.
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Industry and Trade notes a tendency to reduce the cost of sugar, as well as sunflower oil in Russia.
