  According to the report, 39% of the respondents believe that the Tokyo Olympics “should be postponed again” and 38% believe that “should be cancelled directly”; on the other hand, only 16% of the respondents believe that “should be held as planned”. Compared with December 2020, this is a significant drop of 11 percentage points.

  However, Yoshiro Mori, chairman of the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee, recently stated that it is absolutely impossible to postpone the Tokyo Olympics.

At the same time, regarding whether to accept audiences from overseas under the new crown epidemic, Yoshiro Mori said, "I think in February or March, we need to make very difficult judgments."
