Yesterday, China announced the highest daily jump in cases of coronavirus infection in more than five months, and strengthened measures to curb the spread of the virus, imposing general isolation on four cities, while it is striving to prevent a new wave of infection.

While Japan expanded the state of emergency to include seven other provinces, India recorded about 15 thousand cases and 202 deaths from the virus, at a time when Corona infections around the world rose to about 91.6 million, including 1.9 million deaths.

In detail, official data showed that most of the new cases of infection were recorded in China near Beijing, but a far northeastern region also witnessed a rise in cases in light of the virus's return to spread, which led to the imposition of home quarantine on more than 28 million people.

Yesterday, the National Health Committee announced the registration of 115 new confirmed cases of the virus on the mainland, up from 55 the previous day, the highest daily increase since July 30.

She added that 107 of the new infections were local infections.

In Tokyo, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga decided yesterday to expand the state of emergency due to the Corona pandemic to include more provinces in Japan, in light of the high incidence of Coronavirus.

Soga issued a decision to impose a state of emergency in seven other provinces, including Kyoto, Osaka and Fukuoka, bringing a total of 11 provinces under the state of emergency.

And in New Delhi, the Indian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that 15,968 cases of Coronavirus had been recorded during the past 24 hours.

The President of Armenia was transferred to London after being infected with Corona

Yesterday, the Presidential Office in Armenia announced that President Armen Sarkissian, who tested positive for the Coronavirus last week, had been transferred to a London hospital for pneumonia.

Media reports quoted the office as saying that the president's condition is serious and that he is in a high temperature.

Jordan launches a vaccination campaign against "Covid-19"

Yesterday, Jordan began a vaccination campaign against the emerging corona virus, targeting health personnel, and those suffering from chronic diseases and those over the age of 60, in its first stage.
