TJ Parker's players have won only five times since the start of the season, one less than their opponents of the evening.

Only Khimki Moscow has a worse record than Asvel, with only two wins on the clock.

On Wednesday, Charles Kahudi's teammates had a very good start to the match, with a lead of (15-7, 4th), but saw the Greeks take control before the end of the first quarter to no longer let them.

Asvel remained in contact with the Greeks for the next two quarters, but gave in in the last, for a very severe final gap of 17 points.

Only positive point, Villeurbanne retains the direct point difference with Pana, thanks to its clear victory in the first leg (97-73).

The reigning French champions (2019), who will obtain a permanent A license in the Euroleague in the coming weeks, have not found the solution defensively against Serbian Nemanja Nedovic.

The 2016 Olympic vice-champion scored 33 points (5 rebounds and 6 assists).

In the duel of the pivots, Moustapha Fall for Asvel (10 points, 9 rebounds), one of the only Villeurbannais to have held his place on Wednesday, gave in to the Greek Georgios Papagiannis, author of 18 points and 8 rebounds.

Asvel will have sinned in his address, with a weak 5 out of 20 at three points (1 out of 6 for Norris Cole).

Villeurbanne will stay in Athens, since Asvel faces Olympiakos on Friday, who are fighting for a place in the Top 8 of the Euroleague at the end of the regular season on behalf of the 20th day.

The Rhone club will then receive the Piraeus club in its Astroballe, Tuesday, in a match late for the 10th day.
