Bretten (dpa / lsw) - A major police operation caused a stir early Monday morning in Bretten (Karlsruhe district).
According to a police spokesman, around 30 officers were on site after witnesses pointed out the possible threat to a woman, mother of several children.
Forces from the Special Operations Command Baden-Württemberg (SEK) finally moved in to get into the 30-year-old's apartment.
What exactly happened, however, could not yet be clarified.
No further details were given.
Nobody got hurt.
There were no arrests.
The investigation continued, it said.
