The public theater and concert activities within Performing Arts East have been paused since November, now this is being extended and performances are being moved forward.

Instead, they continue to invest in the digital offer, Scenkost Öst states in a press release.

Continues to invest in the digital range

- Our investment in digital offerings continues and is strengthened with the extended break.

We are currently working full time to adjust further and review different alternatives for a digital repertoire, says Östgötateatern's theater director Nils Poletti.

- During this period, we have invested heavily in recording and broadcasting concerts on our digital stage and are overwhelmed by how well it has been received by the audience.

We reach out bigger and wider and have had an impact internationally as well, says SON's artistic director Henrik Marmén.

But it is in the live meeting with the audience that the real magic arises and now we all long for it to be possible again.

Refund is expected

The thousands of subscribers with tickets to this spring's performances and concerts will be contacted in the coming weeks and offered a refund, Scenkost Öst states in the press release.

SVT Nyheter Öst spoke with Pia Kronqvist, CEO of Scenkonst Öst in connection with the introduction of the audience stop in November:
