Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The tightened corona rules in Brandenburg continue to apply.

The state parliament's health committee gave the green light for this in a special session on Monday.

A majority of eight MPs from the Kenya coalition voted not to contradict the new regulation.

There were four dissenting votes from the AfD, while the three representatives of the Left and BVB / Free Voters abstained.

The request from the SPD, CDU and the Greens states that the state government is adapting some measures according to the current corona situation.

Since Saturday, only private contact with one other person outside of your own household is allowed.

Outside a radius of 15 kilometers around a district or an independent city, tourist travel and sports are taboo if the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants there is over 200 in one week.

This currently applies in 13 districts and three independent cities.

Schools are closed except for final classes and emergency care.

The state parliament has been able to object to a regulation since December.
