From our correspondent in Brazzaville,
The presidents of the two Congos were concerned about the evolution of the security situation in eastern DRC.
This situation characterized by the activism of armed groups and loss of human life.
They strongly condemned the criminal acts perpetrated in this area, and called for dialogue as well as in the Central African Republic where they took note of the provisional results of the last elections.
The crimes committed by terrorists against civilians in Cameroon and Niger were also condemned by the two leaders.

They also welcomed the vaccination campaigns against Covid-19 across the world.
Beyond imported vaccines, local products should not be neglected, according to President Félix Tshisekedi.
“
We have already received proposals from our partners.
The vaccine is a must.
But, we also favor curative treatment.
I believe that we have two products which promise in any case by the first results which they show.
These are Congolese products.
We will promote it.
The vaccine is a necessary step which makes it possible to curb contagion,
”he said.
