Krauchenwies (dpa / lsw) - After a serious traffic accident in which a car rolled over several times, the driver died at the scene of the accident.
The 44-year-old was on the federal road 311 near Krauchenwies (Sigmaringen district) on Sunday evening when he got off the road with his vehicle for an unexplained cause, the police said.
The car is said to have rolled over several times in one field.
Only after about 150 meters did it come to rest on the roof - the driver was trapped and had to be freed by rescue workers.
He died at the scene of the accident.
How the accident came about was initially unclear.
