Osnabrück (dpa / lni) - After a bomb dud was found in Osnabrück, the explosive device from the Second World War is to be defused on Monday evening.
The bomb was discovered during exploratory work, a spokesman said.
Since it has a chemical detonator, the defusing must take place in the course of the evening.
Around 4200 people have to temporarily leave their apartments and houses in the Widukindland district.
Because of the special corona situation, two evacuation centers would be set up at the Schinkel comprehensive school and in the Sonnenhügel school center.
All residents have been asked to prepare for their evacuation and leave their homes.
