Representatives of the CEC of Russia Yevgeny Shevchenko, Anton Lopatin and Sergei Sirotkin are working in the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan as part of the SCO, CIS missions and within the framework of bilateral cooperation of election commissions, RIA Novosti writes.

“In general, we assess the campaign as highly organized.

The high level of training of all participants in the process is the result of the work that the CEC of Kazakhstan did during the campaign.

First of all, this is due to the training of commission members.

Members of the CEC of Russia have not yet identified any serious violations that could affect the course of the voting, ”Lopatin said.

As Sirotkin noted, the elections were organized at a high level.

“It is felt that a lot of work was done by the CEC to train the territorial commissions, and this affected the way the voting day went.

There were no excesses, ”he said.

In Kazakhstan, on January 10, voting took place in the elections to the lower house of parliament, as well as to local representative bodies of the country.

The turnout by 22:00 (19:00 Moscow time) was 63.3%.
