Earlier Lukashenka said that he is a supporter of the adoption of the new Constitution of the republic.

He noted that he is convinced of the need to adjust the powers of the president. 

According to the president, the sixth All-Belarusian People's Assembly is planned to be held in the first half of February, but the People's Assembly "has not been authorized to change any constitutional norms or the Constitution and will not be."
