Egypt: A young "indebted" man provides free meals to Corona patients

Large sectors of Egyptian society have joined forces to confront the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) through many initiatives, which include providing oxygen cylinders, assisting patients with transportation and follow-up, in addition to providing food and drink to families infected with the emerging corona virus, and among those initiatives In the governorate of Menoufia, what a young man called "Tariq Al-Desouki" did, who owned a "foul and falafel" restaurant in the city of al-Shuhada.

According to the Egyptian newspaper "Al-Watan", the young man decided to support the Shuhada Hospital for health isolation with meals, whether for infected cases or medical teams inside the hospital, and his initiative found wide support and praise from the people of his city, who demanded the restaurant owners to launch the same initiative as the young man.

The young man said to the newspaper: “By God, I am in debt, and I have paid off my debts, but the livelihood is increasing,” explaining that he delivers food daily (100 sandwiches and a meal) to patients and medical teams, as a support for them in light of the Corona pandemic.
