Barth (dpa / mv) - In an accident on the road between Wieck and Prerow (Vorpommern-Rügen district), two people were seriously injured.
A 20-year-old driver drove his car off the road in a slight right turn on Saturday afternoon, the police said.
The car overturned several times, with the 20-year-old being thrown out of the car.
He was seriously injured and taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter.
The 18-year-old passenger was also injured and rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
The L 21 was completely closed during the recording of the accident.
