The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, said that what happened in the United States of America after President Donald Trump's supporters entered Congress constitutes a major and dangerous incident.

Nasrallah added in a televised speech on Friday evening that "the US nuclear button bag is in a crazy hand" called Trump, as he described it.

The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah called for God to protect the world until Trump hands over power on January 20, which is the date of the inauguration of the US President-elect Joe Biden.

And Nasrallah considered in a televised speech yesterday evening that the developments in Washington have repercussions on the United States and the whole world, as he put it.

The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah added that "the events that took place in America recently are very dangerous and very big, and they cannot be ridiculed or minimized no matter what some try."

He added that what happened "is a scene that the Americans used to apply in other countries, but Trump implemented it in the United States."

Last Wednesday, clashes took place between security forces and protesters supporting the outgoing president who stormed the Congress building in Washington, killing 5 people - including a woman and a police officer - and arresting 52 others.

The storming came during a session of Congress to certify the victory of Joe Biden in the presidential elections.
