After three defeats and 1:11 goals, the Mannheimers showed their form improved, but that was not enough to win against a strong opponent.
Hamza Saghiri (24th) and Arianit Ferati (42nd) ensured a 2-0 break for the Waldhöfer, before Verl through Kasim Rabihic (68th) and Aygün Yildirim (73rd) made it 2-2 within a few minutes.
