Potsdam (dpa / bb) - Women's soccer Bundesliga team Turbine Potsdam has reacted to the long-term failure of goalkeeper Vanessa Fischer after a shoulder operation and signed the Swede Emma Lind.
The 25-year-old comes to Potsdam from the top club FC Rosengard.
"Due to Vanessa Fischer's long absence, we were forced to look around the goalkeeper market and are pleased that we were able to sign Emma, an experienced goalkeeper," said assistant coach Dirk Heinrichs in a club release on Friday.
For the Swedish newcomer, Potsdam is the first foreign stop on the career path.

Before the Swede Lund, the former champions had already signed the Danish twins Karen and Sara Holmgaard (21) from Fortuna Hjörring for the second half of the season opener on January 31 against Werder Bremen.
Defender Maghan Nally (22), who is returning to the Portland Thorns, and midfielder Rieke Dieckmann (23), who is moving to Twente Enschede in the Netherlands, have left Potsdam.
