According to the information available to the German Press Agency, the US manufacturer plans to deliver 154,000 vaccine doses to Germany in two tranches by the end of January.

The federal states should receive the first delivery of the preparation on Tuesday of the coming weeks, as a spokesman for the Federal Ministry of Health announced on Friday upon request in Berlin.

In Hesse, 4800 doses are expected to arrive next week, 7200 two weeks later and 16,800 two weeks later, according to a table from the Federal Ministry of Health from Friday. In the week from February 22nd, it should be 50,400. The EU Commission approved the Moderna vaccine on Wednesday on the recommendation of the EMA drug authority.
