Frenchman Antoine Adelisse finished second in the first Big Air World Cup competition of the season on Friday in Kreischberg (Austria).

The competition was won by Norwegian Birk Ruud ahead of Adelisse and Swede Oliwer Magnusson.

In this Olympic discipline consisting of a jump on a large springboard allowing acrobatic figs, Adelisse won her first World Cup victory last winter as well as the Norwegian edition of the X Games.

With several stages canceled due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, Kreischberg is so far the only big air competition on the World Cup calendar this season.
