Michelstadt (dpa / lhe) - In an accident with an ambulance in Michelstadt in southern Hesse, two people were injured on Wednesday evening.
The ambulance, which was driving on federal highway 45 with flashing lights and a siren, crashed into an intersection with a car, the police announced on Thursday morning.
Two people were injured and brought to a hospital, but were able to leave a little later.
Property damage to the amount of around 40,000 euros had occurred to the vehicles.
The investigation into the cause of the accident continued.
The public prosecutor hired an expert.
