Bremen (dpa / lni) - A drunk husband in Bremen first threatened his wife with a knife and then the police officers called for help.
As the police announced on Thursday, the 32-year-old woman had raised the alarm the previous evening because her husband was attacking her in the apartment.
When the officers arrived, the 38-year-old stood up in front of them with a knife and threatened: "I'll stab you."
The policemen, for their part, pulled their pistols, when the man dropped the knife and arrested himself.
He spent the night behind bars and is not allowed to enter the apartment for several days.
The wife suffered minor injuries.
