Done with previous vaccination of healthcare staff in the Örebro region

These include staff in the ambulance, covid departments and intensive care units who will receive their vaccinations somewhat earlier than planned.

The issue has been discussed in a network of health and medical care directors within Sweden's municipalities and regions, where the goal is for the regions to handle the issue in a similar way.

According to the Swedish Public Health Agency's priority groups, health care workers would first be vaccinated in phase two, but Jonas Claesson does not assess that the advance will affect the vaccination rate of the elderly and other groups in phase one to any great extent.  

- The assessment is that there will be very small delays, in Gothenburg, for example, a one-week delay is expected, he says.
