AfD criticizes the extension of the lockdown as ineffective

Berlin (dpa / bb) - The extension of the lockdown in Berlin is the wrong way to contain the corona pandemic from the perspective of the AfD parliamentary group.

"Anyone who has no real concepts against the virus calls lockdown," said AfD parliamentary group leader Georg Pazderski on Thursday in the Berlin House of Representatives.

"Always louder, more and more violent and probably ineffective as always."

Instead of making decisions on the basis of facts, fear is stoked and new bans are experimented with, criticized the AfD parliamentary group leader.

The next lockdown is imminent and nothing has improved. There are still infections, the number of deaths in the risk groups is not falling. "Even an extension of the known and nonsensical bans until January 31 will not change anything," said Pazderski. The current lockdown will inevitably be followed by the next.
