Lüneburg (AP) - The scenes filmed with entertainer Karl Dall shortly before his death for the ARD telenovela "Rote Rosen" are not shown on television.

A spokeswoman for the production company said on Thursday.

The editorial network Germany (RND) had previously reported.

Dall had shot for the afternoon series set in Lüneburg last fall, but then suffered a stroke.

He died on November 23rd at the age of 79.

As rock star Richie Skye, he should have appeared in 15 episodes of "Rote Rosen" in January.

But only a few scenes were shot that were not chronologically related, said the spokeswoman.

The recordings did not fit into any context and would therefore not be used.

Born in Emden in East Friesland in 1941, Dall was present on German television as a musician, comedian, actor and entertainer for decades.
