This is reported by SANA citing a military source.
"In the evening, the air defense systems of the Syrian Arab army reacted to an Israeli missile strike against a number of targets in the southern region," the agency quoted the source as saying.
It is noted that most of Israel's missiles launched from the Golan Heights were neutralized by Syrian air defenses.
Earlier it was reported that one soldier was killed and three were injured as a result of shelling a suburb of Damascus.
