Munich (dpa) - Did the “mountain doctor” find the right one?
There's a wedding coming up.
The audience will find out in the coming “Bergdoktor” season whether this will happen.
It starts on Thursday with the traditional winter special, before it continues on January 14 with the 14th season of the ZDF long-running hit.
At the end of season 13, "Bergdoktor" Martin Gruber (Hans Sigl) surprisingly proposed marriage to his (ex) girlfriend Anne (Ines Lutz).
Anyone who sees the “Bergdoktor” regularly knows that this man can do everything medically - but it is not that easy when it comes to relationships.
Since his return from New York, Dr.
Martin Gruber charmingly through the ladies at the Wilder Kaiser.
The only female constants in his life are: Mama Lisbeth (Monika Baumgartner) and daughter Lilli (Ronja Forcher).
For those who have lost track, here is a retrospective:
Martin's daughter LILLI comes from an affair - of all things with the wife of his brother Hans (Heiko Rupprecht).
The woman has long since died, the "mountain doctor" and his brother have made up.
Lilli now has two fathers.

During his time in New York, the “mountain doctor” was in a relationship with the doctor JULIA (Mariella Ahrens), who visits him on his return to his home on the Wilder Kaiser.
There is no love sequel.
Martin decides to stay, Julia flies back.
SUSANNE (Natalie O'Hara), who runs the village inn, has a head over heels crush on the well-traveled doctor and Martin takes a liking to the dashing landlady - who, however, is still married and holds on to her marriage despite everything.
In this respect, the fire extinguished again relatively quickly.
Now the pretty ANDREA (Tessa Mittelstaedt) crosses Martin's path.
The lawyer and the doctor seem to be a dream couple.
It doesn't really matter that JULIA appears briefly again at the Wilder Kaiser and Martin ends up in bed with her.
He doesn't tell Andrea.
The two plan their future.
Then fate strikes: Andrea wrongly believes that Susanne is pregnant by Martin, an argument ensues and Andrea is promptly seriously injured in a traffic accident.
When she is finally on the mend, she dies a heroic serial death: in order to donate organs to two babies, she tears the cables out of her body in the hospital bed and dies.

Martin's pain is great and it is a good thing that doctor LENA (Pia Baresch) enters his life.
It's a complicated matter.
Lena has a terminally ill husband who she doesn't want to part with.
The love triangle cannot be solved.
The betrayed husband intrigues, but Martin saves his life.
Lena separates from her husband for Martin - and suffers from broken heart syndrome.
Thereupon the "Bergdoktor" separated from Lena.
Then Martin meets ANNE (Ines Lutz).
A momentous encounter, because the matter is even more complicated.
Because of a family feud with the Grubers, Anne's father does everything in his power to torpedo Anne's relationship with Martin.
Against all common sense and against her love, Anne repeatedly takes the side of her alcohol-addicted father.
He burns down his farm in drunkenness and dies.
A long-term tension breaks out between Martin and Anne.
Meanwhile, Martin is interested in the insurance woman RIKE (Regula Grauwiller).
Of course, the matter is difficult here too.
Rike has a behavioral son.
This, Lukas, finds it difficult to deal with Martin and almost causes his death on a climbing tour.
Rike and Martin split up - they didn't really fit together anyway.

Martin does not stay alone for long.
An attractive pharmacist turns up in town.
FRANZISKA (Simone Hanselmann) is in love with the doctor, but he is obviously a little less in love with her.
The slanted relationship cannot be compensated for.
Especially since the very rich Franziska wants to go to the USA to take on her inheritance there.
Martin stays at the Wilder Kaiser.
Despite the separation, Franziska shows greatness and helps him out financially before she leaves.
She saves the Gruber-Hof from bankruptcy and leaves.
There is still stress between ANNE and Martin.
The two of them can't with each other and not without each other - so he makes her a proposal out of the blue.
