According to the newspaper Le Monde, Olivier Duhamel is implicated in a book to be published Thursday for acts of incest committed on his stepson at the end of the 80s.
The Paris public prosecutor's office on Tuesday opened an investigation for "rape and sexual assault" after the publication of extracts from the book by jurist Camille Kouchner accusing his stepfather, political scientist Olivier Duhamel, of having sexually assaulted his teenage twin at the late 1980s, announced Paris prosecutor Rémy Heitz.
"Following the publication of various press articles on January 4 implicating Olivier Duhamel, the Paris prosecutor's office today opened an investigation into the counts of rape and sexual assault by person having authority over a 15-year-old minor", specified in a statement the prosecutor.
