Mainz (dpa) - On the way to becoming head coach at the Bundesliga soccer club FSV Mainz 05, Bo Svensson was inspired by his former coaches Jürgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel.

The 41-year-old played for the club from 2007 to 2014 and experienced the current Liverpool coach Klopp (until 2008) and Tuchel who was shot in Paris around Christmas (2009 to 2014).
There has been no contact with Tuchel since he took office, as Svensson described.
