Minden (AP) - Handball Bundesliga club GWD Minden has extended the contract with Mats Korte until 2024.
After Christoffer Rambo's departure, the left winger will be the longest-serving player in the East Westphalia jersey.
Korte has been playing for Minden since the C-youth and is entering his fifth year as a professional.
"Mats is not just one of our own creations, but also a model professional in terms of sport and personality and a role model for the other players in his own way," Minden's managing director Sport Frank von Behren was quoted as saying in a club statement on Tuesday.
