At the height of an argument, she shot her elderly husband, hitting him in the back, mortally wounding him.
It happened this morning in Forlì around 12.30 in an apartment.
He, Mauro Mazzotti, 84 years old former traffic policeman, she Bianca Maria Albonetti, 81 years old with walking and even psychological problems, was immediately taken to the police station, where she was heard by the magistrate on duty to clarify what happened.
In a first phase he was rushed to the hospital in Forlì where he then died in the afternoon.
To give the alarm some neighbors who, after hearing a gunshot and the woman screaming, called the police.
According to the neighbors, the couple's quarrels were not uncommon.
She was subjected to a stub to check for gunpowder on her hands, and allegedly held a .22 caliber pistol and then shot her husband who is credited with ownership of the weapon and others found at home, due to her passion for hunting .
Albonetti will have to answer for murder, at the police station where he currently is.
He did not answer, in agreement with the defender, the investigators' questions.
It remains to be clarified, given the physical-mental problems of the 81-year-old, to which structure to entrust her or if the family will be responsible for it.
