With the addition of 1,861 tons of food waste per day from catering service units, the total amount of food waste separated is 6,109 tons per day (excluding garden waste).

The city has built 1,258 classified post stations, including 63,200 fixed barrel stations, 62,800 fixed barrel stations, 3290 painted garbage trucks, renovation and upgrading of 805 closed cleaning stations, and basic construction of domestic garbage classification, collection, and transportation facilities Complete the annual goal.

  At present, there are 46 domestic waste treatment facilities in Beijing, with a total designed treatment capacity of 33,800 tons per day, which basically meets the city's classified treatment needs.

  ——Significant reduction in other garbage.

In the past eight months, the social mobilization of waste sorting has achieved remarkable results. The average awareness rate of residents is 94.85%, the participation rate is 74.12%, and the correct release rate is 69.38%.

  Zhang Yan said that in the next step, Beijing will focus on the correct delivery of residents, the clean and tidy bin stations, the timely removal of classified garbage, and the improvement of the recyclables system to promote the continuous deepening of domestic garbage classification.
