Weißenfels (dpa / sa) - The city of Weißenfels is offering the staff of the municipal day-care centers free rapid tests for the corona virus this week.
Participation is voluntary, said a spokeswoman on Monday.
Specialists from the German Red Cross will take over the free rapid tests in the palace garden gym.
The result of the antigen tests is available after a few minutes.
In Weißenfels (Burgenlandkreis), around 180 people are employed in the municipal day-care centers.
The rapid tests were made available to the city by the country.
Weißenfels with around 40,000 inhabitants is according to its own information the most populous city in the Burgenland district.
