“On January 4, the Il-76 plane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry with rescuers on board flew to the Republic of Azerbaijan to carry out the tasks of demining the territories in Nagorno-Karabakh.
As part of the humanitarian mission, pyrotechnics will work in the Aghdam region, ”the Emergencies Ministry said.
It is noted that 20 pyrotechnics from the Leader Center and the Noginsk Rescue Center will participate in mine clearance.
The work will also involve three complexes with robots.
On December 1, it became known that Russia and Turkey reached an agreement on the establishment of a joint center to control the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Later, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that a joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center would be established in the Agdam region.
