"Develop and approve digital transformation strategies for at least ten sectors of the economy, social sphere, public administration," the document says.
It notes that this is necessary to achieve their "digital maturity".
Strategies should provide for the introduction of competitive domestic software and hardware and software systems, including those based on artificial intelligence technologies.
In early December, Putin announced that Russia will face a digital transformation in the coming decades.
