The new temporary pandemic law means that more business-adapted restrictions can be introduced and more activities can then be carried out in an infection-proof manner.

- We hope that the new pandemic law will create better conditions for the amusement park and that the law will be more business-adapted, says Andreas Andersen, CEO of Liseberg to SVT Nyheter Väst.

Open infection-proof

The law enters into force on January 10 and also gives the government the opportunity to close businesses where there is congestion.

- We constantly have a dialogue with the authorities about how to open in a safe way.

We started already in March with developing a wide range of measures to prevent the spread of infection, such as limited capacity and ticket purchases online.

Hoping for recruitment

If the government approves the new law, Liseberg will soon start recruiting summer staff.

- If we open in April, we must start recruiting already now in January, we have good hopes that it will be so.

How would you sum up 2020?

- It has been a tough year for everyone, especially for our industry.

For Liseberg's part, we have managed it, but if we have to close for another year, it will have serious consequences.

2021 will not be easy, says Andreas Andersen.
