Kiel / Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The regional directorate north of the Federal Employment Agency announced today (10:00 a.m.) in Kiel the labor market figures for December for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Experts assume that the number of unemployed will be higher compared to the previous month of November and also compared to December 2019, when the corona pandemic was not yet an issue.

The pandemic had already left its mark on the labor market in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in November.

Around 62,000 unemployed people were registered nationwide.

This was 6,900 or 12.6 percent more than in November 2019.
