Dresden (AP) - Dynamo Dresden started the first training week of the new year on a snow-covered artificial turf pitch on Sunday.

22 professionals from the third division soccer team took part in the session.

The first league game is scheduled for next Monday at Türkgücü Munich.

Before that, the team of coach Markus Kauczinski will have a test encounter against the Czech first division club FK Jablonec on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Dynamo Academy.

While Paul Will returned to team training after recovering from injury, Patrick Wiegers and Patrick Weihrauch were absent on Sunday.

Substitute goalkeeper Wiegers suffers from a hand injury that requires further investigation.

Frankincense must temporarily suspend with ankle problems.

With Sebastian Mai (torn inner ligament), Marco Hartmann (knee), Chris Löwe (torn outer ligament) and Luka Stor (torn muscle fiber), four other professionals work in rehab.
