Seven people are in custody this Saturday at the end of the day after the illegal rave party organized in Lieuron (Ille-et-Vilaine) since Thursday evening, announced the Rennes prosecutor's office.

Two of them, "born in 1998, without a criminal record", are suspected of being part of the organizers of this "illegal demonstration", indicates Philippe Astruc, public prosecutor, in a press release published following an operation. which mobilized 70 gendarmes from 3 p.m.

"A search is in progress, which has already made it possible to seize a sum of money", probably resulting from the "sharing of the cash for this paid event", as well as "narcotics" and equipment related to the installation of sound system.

Five arrests during the dispersal

Five other people were arrested "on the sidelines of the dispersion" and taken into police custody.

Two of them were "equipment owners", namely "a double-deck mixer and a generator".

Three others were arrested for “infringements of the legislation on narcotics”.

The public prosecutor of Rennes recalls that an investigation of flagrance was opened after revelers invested "a land and private hangar in the town of Lieuron to organize a free party that was not the subject of any declaration in prefecture and in violation of current health rules ”.

It was entrusted to the Rennes research section under the qualifications, in particular, of “endangering the life of others” and “infringements of the legislation on narcotics”.

In addition to these custody, the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin announced this Saturday afternoon more than 1,200 verbalizations in connection with health restrictions.

400 other offenses were fined, in particular for drug issues.
