The clock had just struck 09 this Saturday morning when the police were alerted to a grocery store on Bjurhovdagatan in Västerås due to a suspected robbery.

- It started as a theft.

But when the men are checked, they have made threats against the staff before they ran from the scene, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, the police's press spokesperson at police region Mitt.

According to Magnus Jansson Klarin, it was only a matter of verbal threats, and no insults should have been used in connection with the robbery.

The staff in the store have not been physically injured either.

Two men at large

Two of the suspects were arrested quickly after the robbery.

One of them is a minor, and will be handed over to a guardian.

Now the police are looking for the other two perpetrators, who were last seen running towards Bjurhovda center.

Anyone who has seen anything is asked to contact the police telephone number, 114 14.

A preliminary investigation into the robbery has been launched.
