Iran has warned that any regional cooperation with Israel against its national security will face a clear response without indulgence, noting that the coming weeks will be "important and decisive," while the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Air Force confirmed that there is no difference to Tehran in any potential war Between the American bases and the countries hosting them.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that any cooperation between countries in the region and Israel against Iran's national security or exceeding its red lines will face a clear and categorical response, stressing that as long as the US forces are in Iraq, security and stability will remain absent.

Zadeh added in statements to him, today, Saturday, that there is a last chance to preserve the nuclear agreement and that US President Joe Biden must take practical and rapid steps, pointing out that the coming weeks are important and decisive between whether the other party chooses to implement its commitments or abandon diplomacy.

He also said that US President Donald Trump will leave with a "sinister legacy," and that the Iranians will not forget the assassination of Soleimani and his companions, referring to the American strike that targeted the commander of the Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, near Baghdad airport on January 3, 2020.

No difference

In a related context, the commander of the Air Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Ali Hajizadeh, affirmed that "there will be no difference between the American bases and their host countries in any war against Iran."

The Air Force Commander pointed out that "America and Israel will not bring security to anyone in the region."

Iran's threats to respond to any possible US aggression and prepare for all scenarios continue, as Iranian officials have repeated in the past few days statements vowing revenge with the commemoration of the first anniversary of the killing of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani.

Earlier today, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Salami, warned that any aggressive moves against Iran would be met with a decisive, strong and broad military response, as he put it.

The previous days witnessed several similar statements, as Ismail Ghaani - who succeeded Soleimani in the leadership of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard - said yesterday that his country is still ready to respond, and it will determine the appropriate time and place for that, and hinted that revenge includes the American interior.

The Iranian mission to the United Nations, in a message addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the UN Security Council, also said that "US provocations by sending strategic bombers to the region may lead to a dangerous escalation," warning of any "American adventure" in the Gulf.

On the other hand, the American network "NBC" quoted an American official as saying that the United States is noticing increasing indications that Iran may plan to launch an attack against American forces or interests in the Middle East.

The correspondent of "CNN" in the Pentagon also said that the Iranian navy has raised its level of alert in the Gulf with the possibility of Iranian operations there.
