"I think it would be right for the government to reconvene us in the next few hours and make a decision together, in a very secular way".

This was stated by the president of Emilia-Romagna and the Regions Stefano Bonaccini, on Tg3, responding to a question about the reopening of schools: "If there is concern, widespread in the country, that this may still involve a risk, in the light of there are numbers, eventually we can meet and discuss. And we also understand what the government thinks, since I have also heard voices coming from experts that the government uses to make decisions that then concern the scientific part ".

"As you know - the governor recalled - we were in favor of the" reopening "because the students of this country, especially those in high schools, are paying a very high price. In many European countries, if not all the schools had never closed ".

After that, Bonaccini said, "I share the concerns of my colleagues, especially I took charge, as president of the conference of the Regions, when we as Emilia-Romagna were ready to open to 75%, to take into account that the majority of regions asked to leave with more prudence at 50%. And this was the agreement reached a few days ago with the government ".
