Today's data released by the Ministry of Health: 11,831 new infections and 364 deaths are recorded in Italy.

Yesterday there were 22,211 infections and 462 deaths. 



In Veneto 3,165 cases and 46 deaths


The increase in daily cases of Covid-19 in Veneto slows down but it remains over 3,000 daily infections, a pace that has continued since mid-November.

The regional Bulletin reports 3,165 new Coronavirus positives, with the total at 261,845, and 46 deaths, 6,675 since the start of the pandemic.

The situation of hospital wards is stationary, with 2,992 hospitalized in non-critical areas, 7 more than yesterday;

the occupancy of intensive care units drops by one place, with 400 patients.



In Emilia Romagna 2,035 new positives and 38 deaths


In Emilia-Romagna since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 176,170 positive cases have been recorded, 2,035 more than yesterday, out of a total of 5,281 swabs performed in the last 24 hours.

The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 38.5%.

However, it should be remembered that the data relating to the proportion of tampons made / new positives is not significant on holidays, when much fewer tampons are made than all the others.

Also yesterday, 7,724 rapid swabs were also carried out.

Unfortunately, there are 38 new deaths.

In total, 7,846 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.



Lazio, 1,275 positives and 24 deaths


"Today out of almost 10 thousand swabs in Lazio (-4,794) there are 1,275 positive cases (-638), 24 deaths (+1) and +1,164 recovered. Cases decrease while deaths increase , hospitalizations and intensive care. The ratio between positives and swabs is 13%. Cases in Rome city drop to 700. Today's cases are 152 more when compared with the cases of last Saturday ".

This was declared by the Lazio Health Councilor Alessio D'Amato.

In the provinces there are 212 cases and there are four deaths in the last 24 hours.



In Tuscany 498 cases and another 20 deaths


In Tuscany, compared to yesterday, there were another 20 new deaths among Covid patients: 12 men and 8 women with an average age of 82.6 years.

With the 498 new positives - average age 47 years - recorded in the last 24 hours, the cases of Coronavirus positivity in Tuscany since the beginning of the pandemic have risen to 121,415.

New cases are 0.4% more than the previous day's total.

The healed grew by 0.3% and reached 107,674 (88.7% of total cases).

Swabs performed reached 1,898,439, 5,083 more than yesterday, of which 9.8% positive.

On the other hand, 1,963 subjects tested today (excluding control swabs), of which 25.4% were positive.

To these are added the 568 rapid antigenic swabs performed today.

The currently positive are 10,021 today, + 1.9% compared to yesterday.

The hospitalized are 964 (11 more than yesterday), of which 139 in intensive care (4 less).

Overall, 9,057 people are in isolation at home (174 more than yesterday).

There are 17,252 (686 fewer than yesterday) people, also isolated, in active surveillance because they have had contact with infected people while the people hospitalized in beds dedicated to Covid patients today are a total of 964 (11 more than yesterday ), 139 in intensive care (4 less than yesterday).



In Campania 392 new cases, 29 deaths  


In Campania since yesterday there are 392 new coronavirus cases found after analyzing 3,209 swabs.

Another 29 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of victims to 2,893 since the beginning of the emergency.

99 patients are currently hospitalized in intensive care, while 676 healed in the last 24 hours. These are the data from the regional bulletin, also reported on the Facebook page of the President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca.



In Friuli Venezia Giulia 379 new cases and 18 deaths


Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 379 new infections have been detected on 2,903 swabs (equal to 13%), of which 246 rapid antigenic tests.

The deaths recorded are 18. The admissions in intensive care are stopped at 63 while those in other departments amount to 652. This was announced by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

A total of 53,143 people have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic.

The total deaths amounted to 1,687.

The totally healed increase to 36,618, the clinically healed rise to 949, while the people in isolation are 11,132.



Puglia, 344 new infections


The ratio between the number of swabs processed and positive cases found in Puglia, which, according to the latest bulletin released by the regional task force dealing with the epidemic, stops at 17 percent.

Because of the 2021 tests analyzed, 344 gave positive feedback.

The victims of the covid were ten, half in the province of Foggia.

Three other deaths were recorded in the province of Bari, the other two in the areas of Taranto and Brindisi.

There are 53,812 cases currently positive, of which 1642 are hospitalized while 36,400 patients have recovered from the beginning of the epidemic to today.



In Sardinia 189 new cases and 4 deaths


A total of 31,667 cases of positive Covid-19 have been ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency.

In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit 189 new cases were detected.

There are also 4 deaths (755 in all): two men and two women between 69 and 81 years.

A total of 487,320 swabs were performed with an increase of 1,496 tests.

On the other hand, 479 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (unchanged from yesterday), while the number of patients in intensive care is 41 (-1).

There are 16,152 people in home isolation.

The progressive number of positive cases includes 13,925 (+177) patients recovered, plus another 315 clinically recovered.



In Valle d'Aosta 7 new cases, 2 deaths


There are 7 new cases of coronavirus found in Valle d'Aosta after the analysis of 323 swabs in the last 24 hours.

Since yesterday, another 2 deaths have been recorded, with the total number of victims rising to 383 since the beginning of the emergency.
